Hospice/Palliative Care Fellowship.
The Department of Family Medicine at the OHSU School of Medicine offers a 1-year post �doctoral fellowship in Hospice/Palliative Care to physicians who have successfully completed a ACGME residency in family medicine. The program provides the fellow with the foundation to be successful as a hospice physician, and/or as a resources for non �hospice palliative care issues in the settings of inpatient care, GIP care, home care, nursing home care.
Prerequisites for acceptance: physicians who successfully completed a ACGME residency in family medicine, and have interest in hospice/palliative care issues.
Other benefits include: Annual Salary $60,000, sick leave/personal time, liability insurance, health insurance, time off, and funds for conferences. Fellowship does not lead to graduate degree.
