Department of Family Medicine FACULTY POSITION AVAILABLE
Position for full-time faculty is available. Faculty rank is commensurate with experience. Qualified applicants should hold the MD degree or equivalent, be board certified or eligible, have proven experience as a physician; training and experience to supervise prenatal care and deliveries, an educator, and have experience in performance based improvement practice. All faculty in the department have involvement in both academic medicine and clinical practice. The department of family medicine is one of eight accredited programs sponsored by the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga and our affiliated hospital Erlanger Health System. Family medicine is approved for 24 residents and has an approved fellowship in geriatric medicine. This is a great opportunity for dynamic candidates. The residency program provides the full scope of training including ob/gyn. We have a strong faculty and great residents in a program with 5 years full accreditation.
