One physician is sought to work at the Intermountain Taylorsville Clinic, which houses six primary care physicians, urgent care and pediatric urgent care facilities. Call will be 1:7. There is an outstanding opportunity available for a board certified/board eligible family physician at the Intermountain South Sandy Health Center, joining 3 FP's and 2 PA's in a well-established practice in this desirable metro Salt Lake location. Northern Utah

Intermountain Healthcare needs three board certified/board eligible family physicians for traditional practices.

  • LAYTON: one physician is needed at the Intermountain Layton Clinic. Join nine family practitioners who also function as attendings to our family practice residency program when on call. Four day work week. Call will become once every tenth week. Layton Clinic is a small multi-specialty clinic comprised of family practice, orthopedic surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, ENT, cardiology and pediatric physicians. The clinic has pharmacy, PT, CT, MRI, ultra sound and mammography. Guaranteed 1st year salary with transition to compensation based on productivity and bonuses.
  • ROY: one physician is needed at the Intermountain Herefordshire Clinic. Join a group of seven board certified family physicians. Four day work week. Clinic has 18 exam rooms and 6 InstaCare rooms, 3 minor surgery/treatment rooms, two rooms for venipuncture, and one room for immunizations. Clinic has digital x-ray capability for routine limited radiological exams, and the lab has capabilities for on-site CBC, BMP, PT/INR and most CLIA waived office tests. Call: 8 AM - 8 AM with very few telephone calls from patients, ER or hospitals. Most call involves staffing the InstaCare at this facility. Most physicians will work in the InstaCare 41- 48 hours per month. Physicians each take one day off per week. Adult inpatients are cared for by the hospitalist service at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden. This practice has been awarded honors from Intermountain Healthcare for excellence in diabetic management and care. Guaranteed salary with transition to compensation based on productivity.
  • SOUTH OGDEN: one board certified/board eligible physician is needed to join a group of six board certified family practitioners. Work at the Intermountain South Ogden Clinic. Four day work week. Call will become 1:7. Hospitalist service available for adult patients. Clinic has pharmacy, PT and imaging. Guaranteed 1st year salary with transition to compensation based on productivity and bonuses.
  • ALL POSITIONS: Employment with the Intermountain Medical Group. Full Intermountain benefits. Relocation provided. EOE.

The Ogden area has a population of over 400,000. It is gaining recognition as a great place to live if you like easy access to outdoor activities. The Ogden community has all the beauty of cities like Boulder without the pretensions. Ogden boasts breathtaking mountain views and access to the multiple recreational opportunities within minutes of leaving the hospital. There are outdoor activities for all ages, affordable real estate, and the community supports diverse cultures for all interests. In Ogden one can be hiking, mountain biking, rock-climbing or bouldering in 15 minutes and, with two rivers running through it, one can be kayaking or throwing a fly line within 10 minutes. Pineview Reservoir is 20 minutes from Ogden, and Snowbasin Ski Resort, which hosted the downhill during the 2002 Winter Olympics, is 25 minutes away. Layton is a community of 56,075 located a few miles south of Ogden and Hill Air Force Base. It is the largest city in Davis County, population 247,457 and has a population growth rate is 1.9% per year. Roy is a community of approximately 35,100 population located southwest of Ogden and north of Layton, close to Hill Air Force Base. It is a suburban community surrounded by rural communities that are growing rapidly as the population demands for housing grow along the Wasatch Front.

Utah County and Central Utah

Intermountain Healthcare is seeking five board certified/board eligible family physicians.

  • OREM: One physician is sought to work the campus of Orem Community Hospital. Physician will have privileges at Orem Community Hospital.
  • MT. PLEASANT: One physician is sought to join a group of three BC family physicians. Excellent income potential. Physician must do OB and will participate in OB call as well as ER coverage. Office space is in a new outpatient clinic built in Mt. Pleasant in 2006. Physician will admit patients to Sanpete Valley Hospital in Mt. Pleasant.
  • SALINA: One physician is sought. OB and c-sections preferred. Office space is at the new Salina Clinic, 14 miles north of Richfield. ER call will be shared with all 7 FP's on staff. OB call can be shared with 5 physicians.
  • RICHFIELD: One physician is needed in July 2009 to replace a physician who is retiring. OB and c-sections required. Work in an office with two BC family physicians. Physician will cover the ER on a rotating basis with six other providers.
  • Salina and Richfield positions: Physicians will admit to Sevier Valley Medical Center in Richfield, a 42-bed Intermountain Healthcare facility. Salina and Richfield positions: Physicians will have the option of earning additional income by picking up extra ER shifts. State and federal loan repayment may be possible.
  • ALL ABOVE POSITIONS: employment with the Intermountain Medical Group. Guaranteed first year salary with transition to compensation based on productivity. Full Intermountain benefits. Relocation provided.
