Two family medicine openings in beautiful East Tennessee. Mercy Health Partners based in Knoxville, TN is recruiting two board certified / board eligible family practice physicians for two different private practices in Newport, TN. The Family Practice Center is a busy group with five physicians. The practice provides a full lab, diagnostics, physical therapy and imaging. There is no hospital call, and physician office call is rotated with the five physicians. The Primary Care Center of Newport has one family medicine physician and two nurse practitioners. In-office minor surgery, dexa scan, in-office lab, and x-ray are provided by the practice. Hospital call is optional. Both opportunities provide employment to partnership with excellent benefits, malpractice and relocation expenses provided. Newport is located within 15 minutes of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park with its abundant hiking trails and beautiful scenery. The applicant must be a board certified/board eligible family physician (DO preferred) with an interest and experience in residency education and procedures. Responsibilities include supervising residents in hospital, clinic and nursing home settings. Faculty members have additional responsibilities in teaching, administrative, and direct patient care. University of Tennessee Advanced Women's Health Care Fellowship. We are recruiting interested applicants who are eager to become proficient in surgical obstetrics and office-based gynecology procedures (including ESSURE sterilization and endometrial ablation). Our unique faculty consists of two full-time board certified obstetrician gynecologists; two full-time OB/FP with advanced obstetrical training, and multiple private faculty that assist with surgical training.
