Physician - Assistant Director, Medical Services
Student Health Center

The University of Missouri, at its flagship campus in Columbia, seeks a primary care physician to oversee medical services in its primary care clinic. Responsibilities include assuring provision of high quality medical care through leadership and direct supervision of primary care medical staff and oversight of quality improvement, peer review and ongoing educational opportunities. This position is on the Center's executive team, reporting to the physician who serves as Health Center Director. This individual will work collaboratively with other assistant directors heading Mental Health (Psychology and Psychiatry), Health Promotion, Nursing, and Administrative Services, to insure the Center provides excellent care and innovative programming to the student community through our integrated healthcare model.

This is a full-time, 12 month position with full benefits. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Minimum qualifications include: A licensed physician (MD or DO) who is board certified in family or internal medicine or pediatrics, with at least five years of experience in an outpatient clinical setting and qualified for credentialing through University Healthcare. Preference will be given to those with training and/or experience in college health.
