 Lawrence, Massachusetts:The Greater Lawrence Family Health Center, only 30 minutes north of Boston, has positions available for full-spectrum family medicine (including maternity care & inpatient care) as well as offering outpatient-only and hospital medicine-only practice. GLFHC provides innovative and comprehensive care to primarily low-income patients, and is home to a top-ranked family medicine residency with many teaching opportunities. In addition, we are also currently seeking to improve additional access for the urgent care needs of our patient population and have daytime and evening hours available for board-certified/board eligible physicians in family medicine, internal medicine, and/or pediatrics to help us provide this service. Physician Advisor: Reporting to the Medical Director of Medical Management and Quality, provides clinical support for Pre-authorization/ Utilization Management, Member and Provider Appeals, CM and other departments. MD or DO with current Massachusetts license to practice without restriction. MPH, MBA and/or completion of the ACPE PIM courses desirable. Five+ years clinical experience. Board certification in ABMS specialty. Experience in managed care, Medicare products, CMS regulations and NCDs relating to benefits and coverage issues is preferable.
