The Department of Family Medicine at the University of Colorado Denver Health Sciences Center is seeking a full-time ABFM-certified or eligible family physician for our community based program. The Rose Residency is located at Rose Medical Center, ranked nationally as a top 100 hospital, and is supported by the Colorado Health Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to making Colorado the healthiest state in the nation. Applicants must possess or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Colorado. Applicants must demonstrate experience and competence in teaching and patient care. Job Responsibilities: Applicant will be a core member of the Residency Teaching Faculty: Teaches residents, supervises residents and students in the provision of patient care, provides direct patient care in the inpatient and outpatient setting, participates in scholarly activity, serves as a leader and role model for residents.

Required Qualifications: MD/ DO degree, Colorado Medical License, DEA Certificate, board certified/board eligible in Family Medicine. Practices full spectrum of Family Medicine, including obstetrics and inpatient medicine. Must obtain medical staff privileges within the HealthONE LLC d/b/a/ Rose Medical Center and obtain medical staff privileges at University of Colorado Hospital.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in family medicine teaching/practice preferred.

Employed Faculty Position in a Nationally Recognized Program along Colorado's Scenic Front Range

The Faculty Team at North Colorado Family Medicine (NCFM) is pleased to announce an opening for a board certified family medicine physician (operative OB a plus) to join their fully accredited program in Greeley, Colorado.

Training residents since 1974, you'll join a staff of nine faculty members in a family medicine training program that is nationally recognized as one of the finest in the nation. NCFM is a community-based, unopposed residency program providing residents with unparalleled opportunities to take advantage of its broad scope of training. NCFM is housed in a 25,000 sq. ft. complex complete with EMR and on-site full service lab, and is located just three blocks from North Colorado Medical Center (NCMC), a 350+ physician teaching hospital. About 67% of NCFM graduates locate in rural settings while others practice in a wide variety of areas.

Faculty family physicians will provide three half days of patient care; 2-3 half days administrative time in office, including curriculum development, one-on-one time with residents (can see patients during this time), etc.; 5-10 hours of didactic (lecture) instruction per month. Call schedule is 1:10. Must hold BLS, ACLS, and NALS certifications, PALS preferred. In addition, preference will be given to candidates with OB skills; C-sections a plus; English/Spanish speaking skills and commitment to providing quality, comprehensive health care in both in-patient and out-patient arenas.

NCFM is affiliated with NCMC, a 398-bed regional medical center, Level II Trauma; Level II Nursery, serving northeastern Colorado, western Nebraska, southeastern Wyoming and western Kansas. NCMC provides the only Burn Center and air medical transport (North Colorado Med Evac) in northern Colorado. Service area is 300,000. A recent $98 million expansion was completed with focus on cardiovascular and surgical services. NCMC provides a full complement of sub-specialties including comprehensive cancer care, orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, women's and children's services, rehabilitation and community wellness programs.
